Housing stock changes the plan
A 1912 Sellwood foursquare and a Multnomah Village condominium on a slab are different design problems before anyone opens a sample book. Each page below records what we usually find.

If you are a little further out
We take work in Beaumont-Wilshire, Woodstock, Eastmoreland, Richmond and Mount Tabor on the same terms. Beyond about six miles from the studio we will usually say no, and say who to call instead.
The limit is not snobbery about distance. It is that a lead carpenter who can be back on site in twenty minutes is the difference between a question answered and a decision guessed.

Tell us the address and the year the house was built. That is usually enough to start.
We can often tell you from the neighbourhood and the build year what we are likely to find behind the plaster, and whether the room can take the layout you have in mind.
